Letter Opener National Emblem
The National Emblem of Malaysia comprises of a shield protected by two tigers. Above the shield is a crescent with a 14 pointed star and banner at the bottom.
The shield represents the states under the Malaysian federation while the two tigers supporting the shield are traditional Malay symbols that symbolize courage and strength. The crest symbolizes the country’s monarchy and its official religion – Islam and the 14 pointed star represents the number of states in the country. At the bottom of the shield is the banner with the Malay phrase “Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu” meaning “Unity is Strength”.
